NL200 - so i 4bet AQ and get called, now what?
6max, 100bb stacks.
very aggro table with intense 3betting. Villain in the hand pushed preflop with TT from bb after a raise, a 3bet and a coldcall a couple of hands before. He have been 3betting 2 of my last 4 raises or so winning one pot pre and one when he cbet the flop. I open A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] utg+1 to 8 folds to villain in the bb who 3bets to 28 i 4bet to 60 villain calls (i really wasn't expecting a call) flop (~120) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] villain checks hero thought that he was good against villains 3bet range and can't really put him on a hand that calls the 4bet so i push. how good/bad is this? |

Why did you 4bet so small?
I don't like pushing this flop. I can't see any better hands that fold since I expect villain to 5betai AK preflop and to call your push on the flop with every pair. Just check behind. |

60-64 is basically a min-4bet. I'm making it circa 80.
Also check fold flop. I know it seems horrible after 4 beting but he will probably call with most of the range he called your 4-bet with, ie all decent sized pocket pairs. |

Re: NL200 - so i 4bet AQ and get called, now what?
if you think he's light, just call pf rather than 4betting. 4bet would be much better with a hand with very little postflop value or if you were oop. i dont mind the sizing, just think it's a bad spot for it.
as played c/f. |
