KQ made straight on monotone flop

Gross. I figure if villain had a set or 2pr he'd raise either the flop or the turn. Villain is 45/8 over 150+ hands. Do you call this and hope for a missed A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or just let it go? Obv a made flush should have raised the flop or turn as well, but who knows at these stakes. |

Re: KQ made straight on monotone flop
When villains take this line its usually a strong hand but the problem is how strong is it? Sure this could be a flush, but this could also be a set played horribly that waited for safe cards before committing. I call here and expect to see flushes, two pair, sets, and missed draws.

Re: KQ made straight on monotone flop
I call, but I really think its thin. You will see at these stakes people pushing with the missed A and a pair, sets/two pair, and even the ignorant end of the straight. Its also possible the guy could have the same hand and was 'free rolling' specifically against your hand with a Kd or Qd.

Profish2285 is pretty much spot on with this one. I make this call like 99% of the time.

Re: KQ made straight on monotone flop
There is no fold button in this hand. It feels like villain flopped a made set looking for a non diamond turn/river to shove.
