Staking Logistics Question
Hey guys,
Quick question. A friend of mine wants to stake me for my normal game (5/10 live NL with a BS 100 max buyin). What I was thinking was as follows: I buyin with my $100, I give him half of any profit, he covers half of all losses. So if I finish with $900 total, he gets $400 (profit = 800, of which he gets half). If I finish with -$900, he gives me $450. Does this make sense? Anything we should do differently? |

Re: Staking Logistics Question
Yeah, it sounds more like you're selling action than staking. Generally staking is just flat out giving a buyin (or long term - many buyins) and splitting ALL action 50/50, or whatever cut it may be.

Re: Staking Logistics Question
Gotcha. So I'm selling my action instead. I'm doing it in a standard/fair way, yes?
