[ QUOTE ]
In the hand I unthinkingly 3-bet. Villain called. River he check calls and shows AA. [/ QUOTE ] How do you feel about villain's flop/turn play with AA here? The flop is a relative dry one where an aggressive player might raise the flop with 88, A6, or a bluff hoping that BB missed with a light three-bet against a button raiser. |

First thought, so it is what I probably do on the table, I am going to call the turn bet, and raise any non Ace or King on the river. If I get reraised on the river, I fold for one more bet. (just this once).
The tough question for me, is what hands is he going to see the turn with. AA, KK, QQ, AK, KQ for sure, but could he have threebet, and then peeled if he just has one overcard KJ or KT suited with a backdoor flush draw? Or, How would he play AQ in this situation? Or any queen for that matter, but would he have threebet any other queens? If it's just the first range, then I think I am 4-3 favorite on the end, so I have a raise, if its bigger than that, then its an easy raise. Do we have any history, Like does he think I'm FOS, because I am always stealing on the button with 65s and their ilk? Or is this guy rockish, or a nutcase? All of those things might change my decision. |

That's not fastplay, that's the right play, and fastplay=the new slowplay anyway!
On the turn, he's got a fair amount of outs and you are ahead most of the time, so you call and raise a non QKA river. |
