100NL: JJ in BB against donk
Villain is 45/20/4 over 50 or so hands, and has already shown up with a load of rubbish and sucked out a couple of hands ago.
I am at 18/12. Wasnt sure about his re-raise, looking back I dont really like the call OOP, but comments as played. I am getting it in on any low flop i think. Re: 100NL: JJ in BB against donk
Wow, I really hate this hand.
Do we know anything about his 4betting range preflop? Preflop is meh. Villain doesn't even have a full stack, and with him only having 70bbs behind, folding really isn't that bad here even w/ him being 40/20/4 and even w/ his small 4bet. If we knew that he was capable of 4betting light, then OK. But since we 3bet his EP open and then got 4bet, I think we have to give him some credit for a hand here, and JJ really doesn't fair well vs his likely range. (QQ+ AKo/s) 50 hands really isn't that much of a sample size, so I don't think we can significantly widen his range much. And even if we did widen it to include hands like TT+ AQo+, we still aren't in the best of shape. Especially since we will be OOP vs an agressive opponent in a reraised pot and we will be prone to make mistakes liek stacking off w/ JJ on a Thi flop when he has an overpair. Postflop, I really don't like the lead. These types of villains if he is 4betting AK/AQ preflop he is also going to cbet it post flop and we can get his stack that way. Our lead might cause him to play correctly and fold something like that. Albeit he probably isn't folding any over cards on this board anyways, considering the way he played PF, I think he will be shoving AK/AQ over your lead anyways. So meh. Considering you led for $30, we are committed to the pot. However, I'm expecting to lose this pot often. |

I might fold pre flop to the last raise. I don't like putting over 20% of my stack preflop with JJ OOP-

Re: 100NL: JJ in BB against donk
the villain has commited 1/3 of his stack pre-flop here. He most likely is determined to shove any flop. So I would make the decision to fold or push pre-flop. I could justify either decision.

Re: 100NL: JJ in BB against donk
He flipped K10 and spiked a King on the turn, which I think overshadowed the fact I didnt play this too well.
