Sorry, should have mentioned this... the reason I ignored 50nl is that I play mostly on Bodog where there is 6max at 25nl, 6max at 100nl, and only full ring at 50nl. I've also been playing some on UB lately though, so maybe I'll just switch to UB full time so I can put in some time at 50nl.

Nah, 50 nl on ub isnt beatable. BBJ tables.

Pardon my ignorance, but this is a joke? Either way, what effect does the tables being BBJ have on the games?

Is this actually a reason not to play the UB 50nl tables, or was johnnybeef just kidding around?

Nope, dead serious. Here is why. They take an additional .5 out of every pot over $10 at nl 50 and above. .5 is 1/2 of a pt bb. For someone who is 20 vpip, even if only 8 of those 20 pots that they play are over $10, that is still 4bb/100 that you have to overcome if you win all of those pots. That is a pretty significant increase of rake.
