Trouble with 1010 OOP
Villain runs 18/11/2.8 from the 144 hands i have on him. He was also playing at least 4 other tables. Seemed typical TAG regular.
GAME #728128074: Texas Hold'em NL $0.50/$1.00 2007-11-19 12:02:04 Table Caltanissetta Seat 1: ($99.20 in chips) Seat 2: ($100.00 in chips) Seat 3: VILLAIN ($131.32 in chips) Seat 4: ($34.75 in chips) DEALER Seat 5: ($25.30 in chips) Seat 6: HERO ($129.80 in chips) Seat 5: Post SB $0.50 Seat 6: Post BB $1.00 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to lmpulseKid [10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] Seat 1: Fold Seat 2: Fold VILLAIN: Raise $3.50 Seat 4: Fold Seat 5: Call $3.00 HERO: Raise $12.00 VILLAIN: Call $9.50 Seat 5: Fold *** FLOP *** [3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] HERO: Bet $22.00 VILLAIN: Call $22.00 *** TURN *** [4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] HERO: Check VILLAIN: Check *** RIVER *** [A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] HERO: Check VILLAIN: Bet $43.00 Now im mainly concerned about what to do on the turn here. Re: Trouble with 1010 OOP
well based on what u have said it seems unlikely that he would have smooth called with a seven so it would make more sense that he may be on a flush draw or pockets himself. Had the villian reraised you on the flop alarm bells would be raised but in this case i would have 2 say that a large bet if not a push is the right move. checking the turn has given the villian the opportunity to chese a flush draw which is maybe the most obvious occurence here.

Re: Trouble with 1010 OOP
I can't follow this. How are you OOP? Did you 3bet an EP raiser, and get cold called behind? Can't answer this without positional info...

Re: Trouble with 1010 OOP
Ah got it, didn't see that Seat 5 and 6 were repeated at the top of the HH, though this was FR. Ty.
The decision in this hand is pre flop. 3betting an 18/12 with TT you have to be prepared to stack off on this flop and turn. Turn is shove for me and grimace if he shows up with JJ+. You shouldn't be putting this much in and folding very often. I would need a solid read to c/f the turn. Looks like he got there anyway, but you let him. |

Re: Trouble with 1010 OOP
im kind of new to this the xx/xx/xx. The first is percentage of money voluntarily put in the pot right and the second % of agression after the flop? whats the third figure?

Re: Trouble with 1010 OOP
1st is the voluntary money put in pot like you said, 2nd is the PRE flop aggression and 3rd is the overall agression.

Re: Trouble with 1010 OOP
IMO you lost that hand at the turn when you checked and let him hit his AQ AK or flush. As played, you have to fold his river bet as there's not much you're beating with that board.
