Re: Good Samaritan Put to the test
How big is the yard, how much work is it? 15 minutes I might do it...2 hours and I would start chasing her with my rake.

Re: Good Samaritan Put to the test
If I knew any kids I'd pay one of them to do it out of my own pocket. Otherwise I'd do it myself for free.
I've never done a day's work for myself but I'm constantly getting suckered into doing free work for other people (esp moving). |

Re: Good Samaritan Put to the test [/ QUOTE ] I was expecting something along the lines of giving CPR to a junky leper transvestite. Just rake the leaves. You've already blown the good karma by waiting so long. Salvage a small measure of dignity. |

I would reply "no thank you ma'am" and then throw dollar bills all over her yard repeatedly yelling MAKE IT RAIN

Re: Good Samaritan Put to the test
How is this a Good Samaritan being put to the test?
It looks a lot more like someone being offered the chance to be a Good Samaritan and being a nit instead. Just smile, tell her you'll do it for free because she reminds you of your grandmother, and rake the [censored] leaves. |

Re: Good Samaritan Put to the test
Either do it for free, or tell her you're very busy with other work, and barely have time for your own yard.
