When to fold when reraised on 3rd
One thing that I can't get a grip on in Stud Hi is when to fold on 3rd when reraised. I can easily fold when I raise split J's and get reraised by a weak player with a K. When else should I be pitching it?
Example hand: 3 handed I raise Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A passive player with the Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the window reraises me All of my pair and straight cards are live except the Q's. What's my move? |

So you are going to be HU? (I have no advice, I suck at Stud hi, just thinking, it'd be nice to have the actual HH.)

You're going to be getting 4:1 min on your call, with JQK I'd take a card off

I say fold. Anytime a passive player raises like that, you have to give him credit for A's, K's, Q's or possibly J's.....too many cards that can help your hand are probably in his hand.
