Agree on Expedia.

Two examples

1) Booked package through them, they called me a month before it was to happen to inform me of flight change. Ended up having to talk to a few people, but they ended up helping us get there a day earlier, plus they paid for our hotel for the extra night, plus $50.

2) I sent them an e-mail about a $100 coupon I had that was expired by like 18 months. They reissued me a new one, no problem. Very cool.

I have some go to companies, but usually I have a longer list of places I avoid no matter what.

I don't care if Circuit City was selling laptops for $1, I wouldn't go there. I loathe that place.

Same goes for US Airways. The Delta shuttle to NYC costs exactly the same and you get like 10x the legroom. The legroom on the delta shuttles are insane, I'm 6'3" and I have an extra foot past my knees.

Also, had to get a refund on a USAirways flight and am told after the fact that my refund will be processed in 1-2 months. Are you kidding me? I booked online, canceled next day, and it takes two months??? I've canceled through other airlines and they never had that. its been over 2 months now, so i called, and it tells me to enter ticket number. When I enter the ticket # it responds with "Thank you. Good bye." then disconnects. I talk to people, get transferred to a manager, and she says she can transfer me to accounting......so she does....of course they are only open M-F and that bitch obviously knew it.

Funny everyone says Expedia. I had an issue where they incorrectly charged my card a few times.. continually said they didn't think they did. After 3 weeks of arguing and faxing bank statements they finally admitted fault and said they would make it up to me. I got an email later saying there was nothing more they could do. I'm not one to demand free stuff but I sent an email saying that was unacceptable and would not use them again. The response from them was "ok sorry".

As a consumer if you incorrectly tie up my money for weeks, I expect some form of product compensation. Even a small % discount would have gone a long way.

I'll never book expedia again.

Amazon.com

For flying, i only use Southwest. Its the cheapest and the best out of MacArthur. If they had Jetblue i would certainly try it, most people seem to love it.
