Fantasy Baseball Advice
I'm taking over a fantasy baseball team and I'm looking for advice. You start 10 batters, 8 pitchers. 5 categories for batters, 5 categories for pitchers. It's a dynasty league with contracts and here's my team:
Russell Martin-C Todd Helton-1B Frank Thomas-1B Kaz Matsui-2B Freddy Sanchez-3B Kevin Kouzmanoff-3B Casey Blake-3B Rafael Furcal-SS Corey Patterson-OF Ryan Garko-OF Grady Sizemore-OF Matt Holliday-OF Bob Wickman-P Cole Hamels-P Jake Peavy-P Joba Chamberlain-P Carlos Marmol-P Pedro Martinez-P Miguel Batista-P Tim Lincecum-P Bob Wickman-P Bronson Arroyo-P Garrett Olson-P CJ Wilson-P David Weathers-P Cliff Lee-P Since I haven't followed baseball since Ken Griffy Jr's Nintendo 64 game, I need help with the contracts. I can offer any player a 5 year extension and I can also extend any person with a 1 year contract to another 1 year contract. I lose everyone else with a 1 year contract. Players with a 1 year contract: T. Helton B. Arroyo F. Sanchez C. Lee C. Patterson M. Batista Players with a 2 year contract: G. Sizemore R. Martin K. Kouzmanoff K. Matsui R. Garko Who should I give 5 years to? 1 year? What position should I look to shore up on for next season? Gracias. |

Re: Fantasy Baseball Advice
wait, can you do 5 years to more than one?
Another wait, why wouldn't you just let each players go down to 1 and then take it one year at a time. |

Re: Fantasy Baseball Advice
Can only extend 1 one-year contract player for 1 year and any other (1) player for 5 years. Rather not extend a player that already has 3+ years for 5 more. Holiday, Lincecum, and Peavy all have over 3 years left on their contract.

Re: Fantasy Baseball Advice
I think youre looking at Lee, Sizemore, and Martin as your options.
