River looks like a value bet but I pay him off.

Re: can 1 fold 2nd nut flush on river here?
I'd prefer to check/call the river but unless this is an outright bluff, you'll see the K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] here pretty often.
It's still early and you haven't invested that much, so I think letting it go is prudent. |

Re: can 1 fold 2nd nut flush on river here?
Readless I call. SS donks make all kinds of stupid raises, there's only one hand that beats you, 320 to win 650, this is +EV if you are right 33% of the time. From my experience, short stacks get kind've goofy and make some weird [censored] plays at times.

Re: can 1 fold 2nd nut flush on river here?
I think as played you make the call on the river although you may find the K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. If you do you'll still have a healthy stack for early in the tournament.
I think that the check\call line on the river would've been a better way to go. Pot was only T130 so villain probably only bets T100-130 and you get to showdown cheaper. |

Re: can 1 fold 2nd nut flush on river here?
yeah i folded i just figured he cant know im not betting nuts here so he either has zero or the nuts and knowing how loose guys are in early going i really thought this was nuts like 80% of the time.

Re: can 1 fold 2nd nut flush on river here?
i'd put him on the 10 d if anything... KJ he was there and should have raised the turn. i think he might have raised as a semibluff on the turn too w/ the K dia...
i think u gotta pay this one off. it doesn't really hurt you to be wrong as youll still have 2/3's of the table covered. |

In this spot I call here 100% of the time unless I'm up against somebody I know. He probably has a diamond...but he could have a lower card. You don't act like your on a draw. Call. I think if you do the math you'll find this is a clear call.
