Re: I have yet to hear a single good argument for Clinton.
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] These are the posts I love the most. "You're free to have your opinion about how you want to live but I don't agree so I'm going to do my best to make sure you AREN'T FREE to actually live the way you want to." It doesn't get any plainer than this! [/ QUOTE ] Hey look, Nielsio's back in politics! Why can't Nielsio be free? By this definition, every Republican/Democrat/Green/whatever is doing their best to make sure every other one isn't free to live the way they want, either. It's a non-starter. Enjoy democracy. "But they're all statists oppressing me!" It's a democracy. Feel free to persuade some large fraction of the country and you might eventually get what you want. I suggest you start by not calling everyone else an oppressor; it turns off a lot of your audience. [/ QUOTE ] Why don't we just start with stay out of my business and I will say out of yours. Democracy is a fine way to resolve issue of community interest. But forcing people to live a certain way simply because you don't like it is beyond deplorable. Our current version of "democracy" has broken down to an us versus them game of "How can I make <insert group> do what I want even though its non of my business?" |

Why don't we just start with stay out of my business and I will say out of yours. [/ QUOTE ] Sure. Are you planning on having AC-land in Canada? No? Okay, then it's my business. [ QUOTE ] Democracy is a fine way to resolve issue of community interest. But forcing people to live a certain way simply because you don't like it is beyond deplorable. [/ QUOTE ] Then you're going to have to convince me and several hundred million others to like AC-land. |

I'm sending bubba over right away. Also, you not giving me $10,000 makes me cry, too. Bubba will be collecting that while he's there. |
