BB is really short here (42bb), just let it go.

Re: 10NL: Nut flush draw in unraised 5-way pot OOP gets raised by shor
First to act in a 5way pot, I don't like trying to semibluff the flop. Especially with the nut flush draw, which is great for stacking someone if it hits. Just check this flop and take a look at how the action goes behind you.
As played, you're getting 3.9-to-1 closing the action, and are 4.2-1 to hit the flush on the next card. Seems you easily make up the 0.3 implied odds you need to call this profitably. The A's might even be outs for you, but you're getting negative implied odds on those cards. |

I just stick the rest in, you have good equity, BB is short, and now you have UTG+1's overcall to fight for

[ QUOTE ]
BB is really short here (42bb), just let it go. [/ QUOTE ] but UTG+1 is deeper than us and cold called the raise. |

Re: 10NL: Nut flush draw in unraised 5-way pot OOP gets raised by shor
I like the evaluation above - it seems that you are getting just about the right pot odds to make this call, with the nut flush draw.
You limped in pre-flop, so your flop raise can easily be interpreted by the BB as a bluff/steal; his re-raise of 3x your amount is him (possibly) showing you that he has a legitimate hand (a Q, or even QT). Against a Q, your Ace outs are probably still good (AQ is unlikely, because it's a hand that will typically raise pre-flop) - against QT you have 9 outs; since there is a 50% chance your Ace outs are still good count them as 1/2 outs (1.5 vs. 3). You would still have about 10.5 outs, making this a pretty respectable call, IMO. |

Wow, mixed responses... gonna bump this for some more evaluation.

Re: 10NL: Nut flush draw in unraised 5-way pot OOP gets raised by shor
you are getting direct odds to call this, you don't have FE, and you want UTG+1 to go along for the ride, you are calling 0.9 into a $3.5 pot, so more than enough odds to call this, + implied odds. Call and re-evaluate turn

Re: 10NL: Nut flush draw in unraised 5-way pot OOP gets raised by shor
Yeah, if it was just the shortstack, you would have to let it go. Since there is a deeper stack that has already called, I would just call b/c you don't want to push him out and lose value if you make the flush.
Also, I know it was mentioned, but don't donkbet in 5 way pot w/ just a draw. It's -EV. |
