77 at Final Table of Daily Double
I'm at work and don't have the exact HH to post on here but really not a whole lot to post either. Last night I was at the final table of the Daily Double B on FTP. There were 7 people left and I was 3rd or 4th in chips. I have 77 in the BB which is 16k. I had a stack of ~300k. A player from middle position open shoves for ~210k and it folds around to me. Didn't have too many reads on the villain as he was only at my table for the final table mostly. I had about 30 hands on him and his VPIP was 31% (high for a final table with 16k blinds when you only have 12.5BB IMO) and PFR was ~15%. I figured most cards in his range will be a coinflip for me. Do I make this call here hoping to flip for 90% of my stack or do I fold and pick a better spot? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Re: 77 at Final Table of Daily Double
(grunch) I think this situation is one of my biggest leaks. I tend to go from a strong position at final tables to out in 4th or 5th place because of plays like this.
I used the same logic here, go for the coinflip with the intent to play for a win. However, I have found myself crushed by an overpair a ton. Now, I'd be tempted to call with 99+, AQs+, AK, KK+, but not anything else. I would fold the sevens. |

Re: 77 at Final Table of Daily Double
I figured this would be a fold but I wanted to check. For whatever reason I decided to go ahead and donk off this hand for no particular reason and found that he had QJo. He hit his Q on the turn..
I knew it was a fold... just wanted to confirm that I made the wrong call. Thanks |
