Re: Strange hand 3/6nl

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] what were you hoping to accomplish by betting the turn? making sure an ace didn't come on the river or something? really don't like betting the turn. [/ QUOTE ] overcards have 6 outs in a sizable pot. the c/r is kind of weird and wouldn't expect it in this exact spot very often. you might be a little results oriented here. [/ QUOTE ] i guess...so betting is worth it just to fold out overcards? i don't think he will call with worse. [/ QUOTE ] yeah he doesn't call with worse |

Re: Strange hand 3/6nl
I need to start learning to make protection bets again if everyone here advocates betting to protect your hand.

Re: Strange hand 3/6nl
With your reads, I'd smooth TT most of the time pre, and fold to the 4-bet if I repopped.
As played pre, I'd check the turn or bet something retarded like $166. I think you've usually got 2 outs now, and I'd fold. |

Re: Strange hand 3/6nl
dont mind the reraise pre but id probably let it go to the 4 bet. Id check turn back too unless you knew exactly what to do against a CR ai.
