200NL: wherein hero DOESN\'T 3bet AA
Reads: open-raiser is a huge nit over a smallish sample (something like 6/6 over 45ish hands ). no other reads.
the reason i called is that BTN is a huge calling station and i wanted to keep him in the hand, eg: In a previous hand BTN C-Called my CB on a 964r flop.. turn (7) was checked through and he called a 3/4PSB river bet on a Q river. (he had A7, i had AQ on a 9647Q board) Party Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players LeggoPoker Hand History Converter BTN: $558.84 SB: $201 BB: $418.55 UTG: $230.13 MP: $243.30 Hero (CO): $218 Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO) UTG folds, MP raises to $6, Hero calls $6, 2 folds, BB calls $4 Flop: ($19) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players) BB checks, MP bets $14, Hero raises to $42 given my read of villain i think there's some value in raising here because he could well have JJh-KKh |

std, pf is fine, but i find a decent amount of the time stations just coldcall 3b's like a normal 3x raise, w/e i think pf is fine though.
And yea, Top Overpair + NFD obv trying to get money in asap. |

3bet PF. No need to get fancy here. Retards will cold call 3bets with marginal hands. As played fine.

Re: 200NL: wherein hero DOESN\'T 3bet AA
I wouldn't read too much into those stats yet - it just means he's raised all 3 hands he's played - I've had 45-hand cold decks many a time.
And 3-bet preflop - you're both full-stacked, so start getting the money in as soon as you can. |

Re: 200NL: wherein hero DOESN\'T 3bet AA
PF: So you want to play a multiway pot with 1 pair no draws oop. Umm no thanks. 3bet pf.
As played, if you are going to be tricky, call. You probably have the best hand and the best draw. Keeping the BB in the hand isn't all that bad. Standard would be to raise and get it in. SMS |
