Re: $12 AQ turn decision
I like a fold here. That overcall scares the crap out of me, looks like a slow played set, and as you say, he seems reasonbley competent. As for BB, you can't be too enthusiastic about being a head of his possible holdings. It is early enough to get away from and we still have plenty of chips.

Re: $12 AQ turn decision
I rarely limp AQo even on the button at the begining of STT. I'd beter raise 100-110 in order to be 1vs1 with MP2.
As played, i would be very cautious regarding BB's bet into the pot w/o position and having 2 players behind, especially taking into consideration that an Ace came and he knows that one of you can hold it. But he can hold everything here: 2 pairs, set, flush draw...I would just call. In you case, beeing 3-beted, i'm definitely done with my hand and just fold. I'm quite sure that your TPGK is not very good here against 2 players. |

Re: $12 AQ turn decision
I like flop.
I would probably raise a bit more on the turn and fold once there is a rr and a call. Someone has 2 pairs or better 99% of the time here. |

Re: $12 AQ turn decision
Did fold, seems obv but I'm running crap so just checking things. What do you people need to push here?

Re: $12 AQ turn decision
I just call the t60 turn bet. As played, clear fold to the 3-bet and overcall.
I push with top 2 or better. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think most hands i would consider pushing turn or raising flop with, would have been hands that i would normally have raised pre-flop with TT+ AK. 22-99 i limp, folding pretty much everything else I think the hand plays differenty. I like the way you played AQo in that spot, the pot just got too hot for TPGK. |

Re: $12 AQ turn decision
Why not just raise this hand preflop with position against a middle position limper. That limp cant be strong, and by raising 120 either BB or limper should fold, exept maybe a low pocket but i think we can play easy against one player with this hand.

Re: $12 AQ turn decision
I raise here pf all day. As for turn, i probably play it the same and gagfold and hate myself. But it looks like a big hand, maybe a slowplayed set or Ax that caught two pair.
