Re: Favorite Classic Nintendo Game
Man this thread rules. In no particular order:
- RBI Baseball - In response to illini43: I'd take NL over AL All-Stars, but CA is best for killing the computer. - Contra - Mike Tyson's Punchout - Double Dribble - Zelda and Zelda II - Adventure of Link - Tecmo Bowl - Everyone says Chicago is best, but San Francisco is pretty awesome. - ExciteBike - Rad Racer - Original Ninja Turles - Blaster Master |

i don't play any of the new consoles, but i assume that games have gotten worse over time, as with most things in life [/ QUOTE ] Word. I'll take a fully function NES over an XBox, PS3, or anything else they can come up with. I stuck with video games through the Nintendo 64 years but haven't really played much since. It would be a different story if I still had my NES. |

Re: FAVORITE CLASSIC NINTENDO GAME
I forgot Basewars and Tecmo Bowl (how?).
The only problem with Basewars was that I got sick of fighting on every single play. When I got the game, I was under the impression that duels would only occur on "close plays." As I remember it, you had to fight anytime a runner arrived at a base where the fielder had the ball. It was really cool to buy all the heavy artillery to load up your players with though. |

Re: FAVORITE CLASSIC NINTENDO GAME
Did you all know that if you have men on first and third base in RBI that there is no way for the defense to prevent you from advancing the first-base runner to second?

[/ QUOTE ] pretty standard for early video games - i think bases loaded 3 had this bug, as well as tony larussa baseball 2 for the computer. |
