Technically, Rendezvous with Rama fits that category. An alien ship enters the solar system and we scramble to board and investigate it. Pretty major disruption, which ended up with Mercury almost blowing the thing up.

but those three points don't get us the win.
bah, I thought more of those guys in #1 were conquistadors, but I just wasn't sure enough and I figured I had 5 points guaranteed with what I had. Should have put more in the extinct I guess, but again, I wanted to be more safe. As stated, I think my answer to 5 was correct. puke on the malady one and foreign plant one, too hard. (Thought I was pretty sure kudzu came over in a worlds fair, but I couldn't remember from where. Interesting kudzu fact: It is entirely edible.) |
