Aiming poker at students??? Moral question
Is aiming a poker site at students morally acceptable? I'd be worried if my kid was being targeted by a poker site with the lure of paying tuition fees! Of course they'll pay the fees...with the profit they're making from the other students who are losing their cash!!! Am I the only one with concerns about this? Re: Aiming poker at students??? Moral question
I have no issue with it. Post secondary education implies the student is intelligent and 18 or older. As such they have agency.
In Canada I'd be strongly in favour as we send way too many unqualified individuals to university and this might weed some of them out. There is a strip club in Windsor that pays your tuition if you keep a B average and dance 4 nights a week. I had no issue with that so poker is fine too. |

This is 2+2. I don't think many of us are going to be too concerned. Just a guess.
