Re: Flopped TPTK on 3 suit flop
I asked for TIME and ran the time bank down to the very end and called. Honestly, the only hand I could realistically put him on is either a flopped flush (small % obviously), AK or AQ with the A of spades (more likely scenario), or a complete bluff/missed draw (definitely likely considering he is one of the better TAGs I have played). I haven't ran this through PokerStove but I really think we are probably ahead of that range.
He showed pocket 10's. On hindsight, he probably could have pulled this off if he would have raised the flop or turn and then bet a little more on the river. |

Re: Flopped TPTK on 3 suit flop
I would consider checking this flop. I have a holding that I like, and may win a showdown with, but is definitely susceptible to draws. I don't think the flop bet is going to fold the flush draws, and it certainly won't fold a made flush.
Checking the flop will keep the pot smaller, making a showdown more manageable, and if no spade comes, he may bluff at the end, allowing you to snap him off. |
