Default tough riv decision

3/6 6 max. Villain is 44/33 and active, but only over a few hands. I stacked him earlier w/ JJ (i 3 bet him oop from sb and flopped top set, he smoothed flop w/ overpair, all in turn). Several hands later he made a huge 50+ bb all in overbet on riv when i bet into him on riv in a multiway pot (i had A8 on a 9 2 7r, 3 8 putting possible diamond flush on).

I open AJo to 21 in hijack. He calls immediately behind me. Flop is 9 4 J rainbow. I bet 45 and he calls (he started hand w/ 530 and i cover.

Turn is an 8 (second heart). He checks. I think about checking behind for pot control, but then remember hearing that some very good players dont think much of pot control . So I bet 123, and would have called an all in. Okay? If you check behind, are you calling a push if riv is 10, Q, K or A?

Riv is the 9 of clubs, and he quickly shoves. Call or fold? How about if riv is non jack broadway?
