I think that's a bit optimistic, but not outrageous. Figuring you have 30% equity in the pot might be reasonable when you are facing the first bet. I'd have a hard time faulting a more pessimistic assessment at, say, 20% though (~5 outs).

The difficulty with looking at this hand from a pure equity standpoint is that you aren't always going to get to see all 5 cards, and you face some reverse-implied odds here. So yeah, it appears you have enough equity when you are facing the first bet given the pot size, but not closing the action it's not as clear a call as it first appears.

Still, I do think that calling the first bet is better than folding.
