Re: NL25 Am I playing too scared?
yes. When he minraises the turn, you should reraise him because of all the draws on the board. That, and his extremely high AF. He hasn't necessarily hit his flush.

Re: NL25 Am I playing too scared?
absolutely yes. given his AF you should check-raise the flop and bet the river. a villain with that AF doesn't have the goods most of the time. i think he would play A2, A3 with the Ad like that. as played raise the river imo. villains range is to large not to raise and it really looks like the river disappointed him.

ok, thanx. Now I look back, it is indeed pretty standard to raise. Villain had the 5 of diamonds with a black king btw.

Not sure if I like a c/r of the river, probably prefer leading out. What's he calling our c/r with?

Re: NL25 Am I playing too scared?
Flop is good. I prefer b3b to a c/r on this flop. I actually think a c/r here is really gross.
Raise his min-bet on the turn. He doesn't have a flush here a lot but he does have a single diamond or some other straight draw a good amount of the time. As played, I like the c/c on the river. With his AF it's likely he'll fire off a bluff here. Also, WTF with c/r on the river? What is he calling us with that we beat? |
