Re: ***Carolina Panthers 2007 Thread***
Unfortunately I saw the whole game. We suck.
I'm looking at potential top five draft picks. |

Re: ***Carolina Panthers 2007 Thread***
Depends who else is available and how high they get to pick. I don't want Ryan, he is incredibly overrated this year (24/13 TD/INT without running ability does not say Heisman to me)

So where does Jarrett rate on the bust scale?

So where does Jarrett rate on the bust scale? [/ QUOTE ] I hate to say it but I think it is impossible to evaluate him on this season, I hate to say it because its a cop-out answer. He has had 3 different QB's throwing passes to him in games and at least 5 in practice. Just not a fair way to evaluate him. I'll say this, I thought Reggie Williams was a huge bust, but the second he started getting a groove with Garrard he actually looked like a decent receiver, maybe not a 1st round pick, but still an NFL receiver. So give it time and hopefully stability at the QB position would help. |

Re: ***Carolina Panthers 2007 Thread***
Ive heard that on the radio today they were talking about how Jarrett still doesn't even know the playbook.
It showed during the game today when he had no clue when the ball was coming to him. |

Re: ***Carolina Panthers 2007 Thread***
Steve Smith basically called out Jarrett in the locker room the other day in front of reporters. Jarrett was talking to the media and Smith suggested quite loudly that Jarrett "go study more film". Too early to call him a bust, but there are definitely a few red flags popping up.
We are so horrible to watch right now. We have no kind of offense and the defense is the same as it always is, which is average at best. I really hope we blow this thing up with a new staff (Cowheronetimeplease) and attempt to build some kind of offense. |
