Re: Full Tilt, another murky spot with JJ
Again I'd call - I think this time is even easier, cause the preflop 5xBB raise makes AA,KK somehow unlikely.
And I also think your first plan - to push preflop was a good one. |

Re: Full Tilt, another murky spot with JJ
Some thoughts on his UTG+1 raising range would really help, but I'd imagine he's shoving 100% of his range here so I think you have to call.

Gotta call. I'd probably shove pre though.

Re: Full Tilt, another murky spot with JJ
I have not enough stats on him, generally he is a more tight player. He raised two of four hands from UTG+1, none from UTG. Over all he raises 9% of his hands.

Re: Full Tilt, another murky spot with JJ
2 important factors here Tack.
-We have a 21bb stack, it's time to turn it up, we're going to get our chips in at some point very soon, we have a premium hand. -As mentioned, he opened 5x and removed AA/KK (and say 50% less likely QQ as well, just for fun) What a beauty spot, If you put QQ in your hand, and that raise came at you, would you ever imagine you're behind? This 5x open is a huge tell, we are crushing his 77-TT or lower in donkiment mode, we're racing AQ,AK (if the tables calling off loose, I've seen the 5x+ opening big aces like this) This is important, he has shown us we're crushing and he's not going away, get his chips in now before a bad flop scares him off... boatloads of equity here, we'll find we're dominating him a large % of the time. I know there is times to play JJ much differently than here, oop deep stacked is no time to go nuts with hooks, but this is sweet. As played, beat him in the pot, fist pumping. |
