Re: i suck at this spot, KK
[ QUOTE ]
i understand im not suppose to fold KK in reraised pot but it seems im SA/WB. i mean he's pretty nitty and i really dont think there are that many hands in his range that i am beating here. [/ QUOTE ] if you are slightly ahead then folding is a massive mistake with the amount of money already in the pot. you are likely against AA-QQ, AQ or AKcc - easy call |

Re: i suck at this spot, KK
Why bet the flop if you're folding toa raise? What hands is he just calling with? If you're not comfortable bet/calling then check.

Re: i suck at this spot, KK
If he does this with a range that you're losing to here, you should be 3betting and cbetting in 3bet pots a lot more.

Re: i suck at this spot, KK
I dunno y u guys discount 55 and 99 from villains range, seems like a pretty standard spot to set-mine. As a side note, ike, or sum1 else, what r u calling a 3bet with from CO against BTN or if ur 3bet from blinds and ur BTN or CO (assume normal tag/decently wide 3betting range)? What r u 4betting for value? didnt feel like starting a thread for this.

Villain can't have AKcc because we have the Kc 2. Yad and Ikestoys- How wide do you feel comfortable 3betting an UTG+1 raise from an 18/15? My 3betting range in this spot is almost NEVER less than JJ+ and AK (although i might sometimes just flat call AK here). i can't imagine it's profitable 3betting much wider than that. where am i going wrong? |
