most of my professors upload the notes on powerpoint, so i bring my laptop to class and look at them. At least I do for about ten minutes, then I start browsing 2p2 and playing other internet games.

I bring my laptop to class, but then I just end up on here. Some classes have more than others. I never see any in my calculus class. My English class has several.

Laptops without internet = very helpful and you actually get real organized notes

Laptops with internet = failing the course

Except a lot of students who go but don't pay attention still want to be able to tell their parents/whoever that they go to class.

I go because we have quiz stuff during class that I have to be there for. But when Im not answering questions, Im on 2p2 or other sites.

Part of it is to be able to honestly say Im going to class everyday though.

plus its always nice to hear anouncements etc such as the test date etc.

I once had a professor in the middle of a lecture stop and tell some student to raise his hand.... He then told the student who had a laptop to raise his other hand and professor walked backed and looked at his screen...

Laptops were banned from then on.
I also have used mine in class and gotten nudges when I click on NSFW threads that arent titled correctly.

Also found out another 2p2er was in my class that was cool...
