Re: [50NL] combodraw call
This push is just waay to huge to call.
Against villains range, you're not a 50/50 shot here... prolly rather a 40/60 underdog; I'll get out stove sometime later. You wanna be the guy with the FE. As played, you need to fold. |

Re: [50NL] combodraw call
This is a good study hand. Thanks for posting it.
As played, I think you have to fold. I am kinda new to using pokerstove, but even if you give the villain a huge range, the call is not justified. Since you raised pre-flop, I think you need to get information on the flop. Your reraise did that quite effectively. You certainly gave him odds to push with your reraise. And since you haven't seen him make a mistake, no reason for you to make one here yourself. Oh, and keep in mind, this is NOT an OESD - It is essentially the same thing as a gutshot. You cannot make a straight in one direction. You have much better odds if it is an OESD. And I do mean MUCH better. If you put him on a wide range, then an OESD flush draw is 59% vs 46% for a gutshot flush draw. Since I am new to Pokerstove, I welcome feedback on my answer and thinking. |

Re: [50NL] combodraw call
The good thing of a combodraw is because you have FE if you raise strong. If you would be called everytime it wouldn't be +ev.
Against an allin from villain you're 50-50 at best so i think a fold is in order here. |

Re: [50NL] combodraw call
Yeah I can see my mistake now, thanks guys. It's hands like this one where I don't really know what to do when he goes over the top.
For those interested, he showed AT for two pair on the flop and a full house on the river. |
