You describe villain as TAG. What range of hands do you put them on preflop after they call off 1/5 of their stack behind you?

You're saying a TAG will find it reasonable to call 1/5 of their stack with 99 against a reraise?

Hmmmm.. I've seen Brian Townsend use a similar move with AA - flat calling with AA hoping the shorty in between will re-open the betting and you'll shove over him. I don't know if that's what he's doing here..but calling off a fifth of his stack scares me. It all depends on how good I think villain is for me to iso-shove.

His range is pretty narrow - QQ+ and AK

I think that once SB shoves you are in a sick spot. I don't mind a fold but you can also call to set mine and villain might check down dry side pot.

If villain overshoves then you can shed a tear and call because at that point I believe it is 16:47 for your AI call and the times he has AK will give you enough equity.

I think his range is much wider than QQ+ and AK; I think there are a good deal of mid pps in his range based on the flat call.

I like a squeeze here.

Why would you flat call a huge preflop raise with a middle pocket pair with absolutely no implied odds if you flop a set? If you have a middle pocket pair in that situation you should push or fold.

I was wondering whether anyone would consider a fold here. I agree I was behind his range. thanks.

SB still has to act and has already called off 10% of his stack, so that improves MP's implied odds. He may be looking to make a move on us postflop, believing that we are 3-betting light. He may not know how to properly calculate his implied odds; "TAG" isn't a good read.
