I couldn't put down Nolan Dalla's "One of a Kind" [/ QUOTE ] Same here. I can barely get through 2 pages of most books but finished that the same Christmas day I got it. |

The Biggest Game in Town by Alvarez will always be a classic in poker literature... a must read by any hardcore poker fan in my opinion.

Re: Non Instructional Books
Big Deal and the more current Bigger Deal by Tony Holden are both very good.

Re: Non Instructional Books
Champion of Champions, the biography of Johnny Moss makes Stu Ungar (as portrayed in One of a Kind) like a conservative gambler. It is an awesome read.
Another great book is the Biggest Game in Town which is about the 1981 WSOP. Watch a video of the 1981 WSOP along with it. |
