Default 10NL JJ - do we bet river here?

Villain is 68/18 and fairly aggro, what is our plan on the river. Do we check behind as it is possible he slowplayed a flush (I find these aggro types like to slowplay big hands) or do you think there is value in betting the river (i.e. is anything going to call that I beat?) I think the obvious holding for villain is AcX in which case he is not calling a river bet, but... what do we think?

most of the time I check call this. This way we save money when we're behind and allow him to fire off a desperation bet on the river. I do not think betting out here is a good idea majority of the time.

How much would you call on the river? I have $8 and villain has me covered?

in the the heat of the battle I would probably call it all. problem is you probably will not be good often enough to warrant calling it off. I think if villain shoves it really quick I more likely to fold. the only hands I could see him having is a slow played flush or AcXx.

Edit: how often do you think you will be good here against his range?

Also note that a set has now boated up....

I do not have a not on villain that he will bluff busted draws, and I don't think he is likely to bluff this river with AcX so if he shoves I think I would probably have to fold, though I would kill myself for it.

I think I might induce a small bet by checking which I would call, probably up to 1/2 the pot....

FWIW I checked behing hand villain had A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
