i do need to spend time analyzing my diet. i get lost beyond the calorie count. when people state how many carbs, fats and protein etc they eat during the day, i think that would be equivelent to a part-time job for me to monitor and understand how it all comes together properly.

try fitday.com

I'm just going to remark that people here often recommend fitday.com, but I - for one - found it too much of a nuisance to use. At least initially, you have to do a lot of calculating to figure out how much of everything you are consuming.

Maybe I found it a hassle because I'm lazy and not particularly good with estimating amounts.

thanks for the links. im going to try those out tonight or tomorrow.

i feel the same way about fitday. ive used it before and get bogged down in trying to figure out amounts and then trying to figure out if my fat and carb level for the day was alright. takes a lot of time.

the good news is i went to fitday just now and i don't remember entering my weight there but i did apparently. when i last entered my weight (about 9 months ago) it was 212lb. it's like i just lost 15lb in one day. chaaaaa-ching.
