any picture or video you add you have to agree that it meets the terms of use, which owns your soul.

I don't post any pics, but my gf posts entire albums and lots of my friends post pics of me so I basically have no control over that unless I ask them to take it down.

My best friend is also promoting his music on facebook...and facebook owns all his videos now, I'm pretty sure.

They tried to but it was successfully fought. This was back in 2005. The problem with facebook was that it was never intended to be a tool for artists promoting their work and the user base is potentially less aware and adept. Myspace was started as a music sharing/promoting site, before it blew up into the behemoth it is today, so the uproar was big enough to be noticable and myspace went a different route. So there's hope with this facebook situation, though people just might not care if their art and hard work isn't on the line.
