- It's funny to me that even with all the ridiculous overbets, string bets, amateur table talk, and all around noob play, no one ever talks about the fact that the entire climax of the movie is flawed. They need to go on this "epic" run to make the 15K they need, but we somehow forget that Worm made a quick 8 grand in like 2 hours at the Chesterfield the morning after being released....oh ya, and apparently neither of them sleep...

They get their money taken in the cop game.

[/ QUOTE ]

He's saying that the 'epic run' they need had already been performed by Worm just a few days/weeks earlier and that it wouldn't be particularly hard for them to make that much in 3 days.

If I were Matt Damon, I would certainly shut my mouth on the river, instead of saying "I don't believe you have a flush". It's an excellent way to get the guy with the flush to fold.

Shhhh....It's from the Jamie Gold Guide to Poker.

Cooler. Anyone who isnt passive/weak-tight is moving in on the river there.

[/ QUOTE ]

I loved the DVD commentary where he thought that Mike should have checked called the second nuts instead of moving in.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think all of the pros on the DVD said the same thing, considering he was playing his entire BR. I can't remember who wast on there, Hellmuth, Moneymaker and Ferguson I think?

Teddy had TT on the final hand. If you slow down the end and pause it just after he throw the cards, you can see that they are both tens.

Yes it's definately TT. There's one frame where it's clearly visible.

what do you think of Matt Damon's play of moving all in after he thinks the KGB hit his flush on the river and bet out.

I'm pretty sure Matt didn't have a choice what to do. The script said "go all-in" so that's what he did.
