With button to act I like raising, however if HU I could see an argument for waiting for the turn. Unless SB is a complete donk & thinks u could raise OP's on the flop & likes to stop n go with a 9 here, then raising flop hu is the best plan.

Either raise here or raise on a safe turn card.

What is a safe turn card? And do we fold if an A-Q hits? You are HU, you raise.

If hu then there's a good reason to wait for turn to raise, however some ppl will put u on an overpair & may fold if played this way. Therefore against those types u should generally raise flops as they'll want to look u up hoping u r raising OC's. Against donks/fish/SD monkeys I like popping the turn cause they'll always pay off. |

Good catch. Didn't notice button still left to act.
You're correct that we should be raising to try to get button to fold overcards. |

Simple raise. But call when he re-raises. If he's a decent player, he would have checked if he had hit trip 6s, to wait for some person who had overcards or a 9 split pair to bet the flop.
