I think it looks great. I am always a sucker for films that focus so much on setting, which is why I like O' Brother and Fargo so much, much to the chagrin of my Minnesota brethren who by and large hate Fargo.

I saw it last night at the Variety screening..there was a Q and A afterwards with Brolin and Javier.

Movie was awesome...whats great is that it is very similar to Dead Calm..little to no music whatsoever throughout the film...just the actual sound of the given environment.

I hadn't read the book. Javier
s character is amazing. JB is solid. Movie was very funny too...lots of laughs. Very very violent.

Good to hear you liked it, I'm really pumped to see this. How was Brolin in it? I really liked him in American Gangster.

Big fan of the book btw, and also pumped to see how the adaptation of "The Road" turns out in a couple years.

Awesome. Clooney's two best performances to date are in Coen films.

I haven't seen MC yet; but Intolerable Cruelty is, to me, easily his best work. Impeccable comic timing, delivery, and charisma. It was the first time I really saw him as a true movie star.

I think he's way better in comedy than drama though. Every time he tries drama (except maybe Three Kings) he seems to lack gravity.

This guy is having a hell of a year - Planter Terror, American Gangster, No Country, In the Valley of Elah.

Not bad for an almost 40 year old whose previous "hit" was Hollow Man in 2000.

He was pretty amazing in Syrianna. Completely shed his usual Clooney swagger (annoying head bobble, anybody?) and turned in a very subtle and complete performance.
