Against someone with those stats, you absolutely have to reraise preflop. You're way ahead of his range and want to isolate him rather than play a multiway pot.
As played, yuck. Either of their bets could represent a set, a flush draw or AJ, and while we probably fear UTG more than CO, we definitely can't rule out CO having AA/KK. The problem with your small raise is that UTG can call with a flush draw and feel confident CO will call, which gives UTG explicit odds of about 4:1. On the whole, you need to push all in (your call puts $39 in the pot and you're pushing $40) or fold. |
