NL25 set oop 3way
I think i play very bad this hand, on the flop i call the raise instead of reraise to keep the other vilain in the pot, and after i don't know how play the turn so i check and i call for the full odds on the turn and for the pot odds on the river.
Bet/call this flop is conceivable or just awful ? How do you play the flop and like played on do you play turn and river ? Re: NL25 set oop 3way
With a raise and a caller pre-flop I think calling is fine. Reraising the UTG with 22 from SB is no good imo. On the flop I am 3-betting. Probably all-in. But that's because I don't want to face the decision I have to make when a diamond comes along.

Re: NL25 set oop 3way
If you're worried about a flush draw and think you can get called by one of these guys with Ax or A7, shove the flop.

Re: NL25 set oop 3way
I would probably 3-bet shove the flop.

Re: NL25 set oop 3way
You have to get it in on the flop 3 way with a flush draw on board. Worry about keeping people in the pot on dry flops.

Re: NL25 set oop 3way
with the 3 way action and the draws, you need to reraise to charge these draws. I'm perfectly fine with getting it AI on this A high flop. *If* for some reason you don't put either of them on a diamond draw, you MUST get it all in on the turn, once that third diamond hits. A fourth diamond will kill your action, and you can't be giving those kinds of free cards.

Re: NL25 set oop 3way
First post - I came to a similar answer here as everyone else but I thought it would do me good to work through a hand for the day!
Pre-flop the call seems fine, otherwise you're 3-betting vs an UTG raise and a caller, i.e. two strong hands, when you'll be OOP post-flop. On the flop when he raised, it seems like shoving would be good. 1)It protects against the flush draw to an extent, and don't forget even if they hit it you still have outs to a full house etc (any A, 7, 2) 2) The Ax and Axs hands are still part of their range, they're either going to call you down and give you their stack or fold, allowing you to win the pot right there. Pushing here seems to also save you from a difficult choice to make on the turn. So in summary - PF - calling the raise is fine, Flop - Re-raise all in. Hope this was ok, and I didn't mess up too much! |

Re: NL25 set oop 3way
I like the lead on the flop, shove the flop. Triple fist pump and cringe a little when the diamond drops
