54s - Big Draw vs Possible Stealer
Back in my Limit days, I would float a lot preflop with suited connectors like this. But in NL, should I be seeing a flop here with this hand against a possible stealer? Or do I just get myself in too much trouble?
Once I get to the flop, easy Checkraise All In, correct? Tournament: $2+0.25 Buy-in with Rebuys Blinds t250/t500/t50 Currently 7-handed Still far enough away from the money not to worry about it Reads: Only been at this table for a couple of orbits, table playing a little bit loose. Villain - hasn't done anything out of the ordinary yet, seems straightforward Stacks: (Average Stack approximately t18,000, I am in top 10 out of 90) UTG (t26,415) MP1 (t15,244) MP2 (t27,423) HJ (t31,814) CO (t9,340) Villain (t11,995) Hero (t31,849) (Note - there is no small blind in this hand) Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 folds, Villain raises to t1,500, Hero calls t1,000 Flop: (t3,350) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero . . . ? I figure that regardless of whether he has a hand, or he is stealing, I can expect him to bet most of the time. On top of that, I can expect a bet that is sized such that my checkraise all in may put him to a very tough decision with sufficient fold equity, and I don't mind a call or a fold at that point. Am I thinking about this correctly? |
