Harrah\'s & MGM Marketing Vegas to Gays & Lesbians
There was an interesting article in Friday's Wall Street Journal, about how in the last 18 months both Harrah's and MGM have started gay-oriented marketing of their Las Vegas resorts. Harrah's (which has particularly focused on bringing gays to Paris, through the website www.gayparislasvegas.com) noted research showing that gay men spend 30% more on vacation than straight men.

shhhh - dont say nothin\'
Yep. Big casinos will take your money without regard for race, ethnicity, creed, etc etc bla bla bla, or sexual orientation. But it's probably a kinda don't ask, don't tell type thing. This is, after all, the age of p'litical c'rectness, but we wouldn't want to actually let go of our old stereotypes and prejudices.
Welcome to paris las vegas, the gayest casino on the strip! Actually, it's all fine by me. Don't mind diversity at the gambling tables. It's the dallas fans we need to chastize and cast out. :-) Al |

As statistics will show, gay men tend to have more disposable income than straight married men. The funniest gay themed campaign I can remember backfiring on a company was Guinness.
