He could def. have a wider range than that, we only have 23 hands on him after all.

[/ QUOTE ]

23 hands can be pretty significant. I forget what the name of the theorem or statistical rule is, but if he's been this tight over 23 the odds that his 'true' vpip is more than 13 or 14 are really pretty slim. the guy you see running 8/4 over 23 hands turns out to be a nit like 95% of the time.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's true that 23 hands tells us stuff about his nittiness, but he could still be a retard who adds some unexplainable crap to his 13 or 14%.

[/ QUOTE ]

true. the rare and elusive nit-tard. Not common, but still found in SnG's near you.

haha, i think this is fine vs an 8/4, maybe muck preflop but with your preflop line you played it fine.

Folding is fine, I don't see how you can be folding here with only 23 hands on the villain, that could easily be way off.

Lol wow that post was pretty good

Folding the flop is standard. As for preflop I'm not folding due to stats based on only 23 hands. I would normally shove here, but only calling is fine since it's possible he is very tight.

I like folding preflop if you really can't shove. Against someone who is extremely likely to have either the same hand as you or a big pair, you don't hit often enough to make money on this hand if you aren't going to make any money when you outflop him. Even if he has AQ he will have a playing winner over you as you will have to fold to his c bets when you miss which is 75% of the time with one ace dead.
