UB,a.k.a. Ultimate Bot is not known for good responsive customer service.

What you should get refunded is (your chips / total chips) * prizepool plus the 215 ticket's cash value split equally.

However UB will probably just refund your entry fee. And that is if you're lucky.

Like the prev poster said you take your chances playing at 3rd rate sites.

For your sake I hope I'm wrong.

GL,
Steve

I did get my $11.00 back (it was a 10+1mtt) and an e-mail stating they were sorry for the delay on e-mailing me back--as they have received alot of e-mails regarding this matter I suppose. They said I would be entered into a tournament Saturday the 10th as a consolation. No details on what the prizes will be or if you have to place to get them. In other words, if your internet crashes, then you are just out of luck. If the problem is on UB's end, then we will put you in a freeroll tournament and you have to play to try and win back what you already earned.

Tournament rules at UB site:
"The tournament fails more than 20 minutes after start and not due to general site issues:

Remaining Players are ‘in the money’:

* All remaining players receive the minimum prize that would have been awarded to the next player to bust out.
* The remainder of the pot (net of prizes already paid out) is distributed to all players based on chip equity.
* Each remaining player receives their tournament fee back.
* Players who have been eliminated receive no refund."

Only Question is what is the general site error?

The e-mail I got stated they understood my point, however, due to the nature of the issues these events experienced, we were not able to process "Chip Equities" to the affected accounts. Still no details on this "special" tournament to try and pacify us. I'm sure alot of the players affected might not even be able to play in this special event.

They don't pay us nothing more and I stopped to play at Ultimatebet :
"Thank you for contacting us.

As you already know, TID 1061513 was killed due to technical difficulties that interfered with the proper development of the game.

Due to the nature of the technical difficulties experienced, refunds were issued to the players on all the affected events at the time. This was the most accurate way to ensure that all players were compensated properly.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please remember that in addition to your refund, a special tournament has been created to compensate the players affected.

This tournament will have a $1000.00 prize pool and will take place next Saturday November 10th, at 20:00 E.T. You can locate it at our lobby, under “Real Money / Scheduled Tournaments / Freerolls Tournament ID 1069789”

Your name will be added within 24 hours before the tournament start time.

You may visit our General Tournament Rules at the following address:

http://www.ultimatebet.com/poker-tournaments/rules

Here you will find the following statements:

"22. UltimateBet.com reserves the right to alter the rules and make final decisions on all tournament related issues as they arise, and at our sole discretion
....
24. In case of disputes decisions made by UltimateBet.com are final."

Thank you for your understanding.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

Best Regards,"
