Good fold, you are behind his range, most of which includes QQ/JJ/AcKc/AcQc. We only beat KK and naked flush draws, which he rarely has. Flop, I like the way you played it. FWIW, I raise more preflop, to $18-$22.

QFT. I'd say set/AcKc/AcQc is just about all we ever see here (maybe some more AcXc hands), so we're behind a large majority of the time and only slightly ahead the few times he's semibluffing.

i'm curious...if you aren't looking to stack off here, then why are you c/r here? c/r builds a huge pot when he calls, and even if he has KK he's not likely to fold immediately and that puts you in the same situation.

if you're not willing to stack off, then just c/c this flop since similar action will occur but you can get off for cheaper. KK isn't folding here, and probably not raising. sets are raising, AKcc is raising.

read more replies, GOD ARE YOU PPL KIDDING WITH THE RIDIC LARGE PF RAISE??

Pot size raise is just fine, just make sure you are doing it with a wide enough range that he can't exploit you. If you are that worried about giving him implied odds then just call pre and play a small pot. rr to 14 > call >>>>>>>>> rr to 38490284 or whatever. Why don't you just shove if you want not to get stacked ffs.

ANNNNNYWAY, i would just bet the flop and play poker from there. If im c/r, im instacalling a push. However, i think c/r is a pretty big overplay here.

This is a "safe" way to play, but doesn't maximize value.

I think you are behind his range here, but you have to call. By C/raising you have built the pot so much that even though you are behind something like a/q of clubs, you need to get your money in. I wouldn't C/rai here unless you are willing to stack off.

can you explain why? if you are both deep, then aren't you playing 1/2 NL rather than .5/1 NL? And if that's the case, you should be making your 3/bets bigger, not only to get stacks in, but also to cut down on implied odds?

are you saying this is a bad line to take if you're only 3/betting AA/KK this big? or because we really aren't THAT deep.

if you're 3/betting all of your hands to 20 bb, then this seems fine, and less exploitable (your main concern?)

thanks
