How high a flush do I need to call this? ($2/2 protected sidepot)
UTG is strong, loose-aggro. No significant read on shortstack but I consider it likely he has aces. How does my decision change if I have two pair/set with it? Please (for now) ignore my preflop and flop FPS.

Re: How high a flush do I need to call this? ($2/2 protected sidepot)
I think he could be doing this with any flush, maybe less, given your read and all the weird bet sizing. So figure out what hand has pot odds against a range of {flushes}, weighted for the fact that he raised, called, and called preflop. I think it will turn out to be 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or so.

Re: How high a flush do I need to call this? ($2/2 protected sidepot)
If you have a set, you have pot odds to call up to half pot on the turn, so that's an insta-call, as it would be even if you had no flush. As for a bare flush... I'd call with the King-high (not liking it much) but fold the Ten-high or worse.

OK so I guess this isn't very interesting. Results: I'm UTG, SB is semi-known fish, and called with a straight. I just had top two with an oesd redraw, CO had bare aces.

Re: How high a flush do I need to call this? ($2/2 protected sidepot)
I suppose he's already put in 140-odd and is getting about 4.5:1 on a call, so if he thinks you bluff a lot he might think he's getting good odds.

Re: How high a flush do I need to call this? ($2/2 protected sidepot)
The way you played it I can't really imagine folding any flush but I guess it comes down to what he thinks you'll call with. He could easily be doing this with any four cards that have a shot at winning the main pot.
