Diet Dr. Pepper is the clear winner of the diet soda wars, followed by diet root beer and cream soda.
for colas, diet pepsi max wins because it is an "invigorating cola" with "increased caffeine" |

The only answer to this question is Diet Pepsi Max FTW
It has changed my life and it's status in the soda world isn't really debatable IMO |

Basically, if you have never tried or heard of this new soda, your opinion on the best diet soda is invalid. It truly is the best. Not only is the taste above and beyond any other 'diet' out there imo (this is obviously the arguable part), but the caffeine content is the kicker. If you're a caffeine fiend like myself and like your soda to not only quench your thirst, but serve in this arena as well, Max is unparalleled. It's red bull without the chock full of sugar flavor or calories. |

You know, I hated Max at first, but now that I think of it, the stuff is incredible and clearly superior to the others, plus you get more caffeine for your money. Sure I could drink tea or coffee but they taste worse unless you add real sugar. Actually I really like regular unsweetened tea but it is apparently illegal to sell in Pennsylvania, all tea must contain sugar additives here, and diet tea pretty much tastes like ass. And brewing my own takes time.
But wtf is with these names, very Japanese. Pretty soon it will be neo ultimate infinity max superpepsi or something. |

[/ QUOTE ] Obv its a different situation, but clear drinks in Canada arent allowed to contain caffeine. So, gov't can come up w/ some crazy laws. Though, Id have to imagine that one isnt true. |
