Re: QQ
snap call and send TPTK to the poor house.
He has AJ/KJ at these stakes more often than he has AA/KK/JJ & AKdd combined - we gots one [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] so the flush draw has one less out than it thinks it does. I think this range is a little too tight and we are ~55/45 favourite against it - so snap call with fist pump. 40,590 games 0.003 secs 13,530,000 games/sec Board: 3d 9d Jh Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 46.934% 45.77% 01.16% 18578 472.50 { JJ+, AdKd, AJs, KJs, AJo, KJo } Hand 1: 53.066% 51.90% 01.16% 21067 472.50 { QdQs } |

Re: QQ
I think one valid point is that w/o a decent # of hands on villain you really have no clue as to whether he's got a decent hand, an overpair, a flush draw/etc
At low limits you'll frequently see wild raises/bets and imo the hardest thing about lower stakes games is identifying the crazies who play 13/7 and then suddenly push allin into a tiny pot oop with total air vs a nit. His range is certainly bigger than you think, which is why this is a profitable call @ 10nl. |

Re: QQ
Easy fold, ur either facing AA, KK or a set of jacks, even if u give urself 10% equity that hes bluffing. I would play that hand the same way. I dont rr oop in micro without a read or AA KK

Re: QQ
I don't like leading the flop after we flat called preflop (which I like), but check/raise should be pretty standard here against a 75bb stack that we have no history with.

Easy fold, ur either facing AA, KK or a set of jacks, even if u give urself 10% equity that hes bluffing. I would play that hand the same way. [/ QUOTE ] this range is more accurate: Board: 3d 9d Jh Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 55.525% 54.52% 01.01% 28067 517.50 { QdQs } Hand 1: 44.475% 43.47% 01.01% 22378 517.50 { JJ+, AdKd, AJs, AdTd, Ad9d, Ad8d, Ad7d, Ad6d, A5s-A4s, Ad3d, Ad2d, KdJd, KdTd, QdJd, JdTd, AcKh, AcKs, AdKh, AdKs, KcJd, KcJh, KcJs, KdJh, KdJs, KhJs, QcJh, QcJs, QhJc, QhJs, QsJc, QsJh, JcTd, JcTh, JcTs, JdTh, JdTs, JhTs } We are still a 55:45 favourite. This range is basically A2dd+ (nut fd - AJdd has also nfd+TP - no AQdd cos we gots the Q) JJ+ (top set - QQ for the tie - and 2 better Overpairs) AJo (TPTK) KJdd/QJdd (TPGK+fd) AKo (AKo 1/4 of times he is dealt to represent a bluff) KJo/JTo (1/2 of times dealt) We could think that we were a 35:65 underdog and it will still be a profitable call to make in the long run we are getting better than 3:1 pot odds. In fact the range of *just* JJ+ and 10% of the time as a bluff is ~34/66 so is about breakeven (losing slightly cos of the rake.) [ QUOTE ] I dont rr oop in micro without a read or AA KK [/ QUOTE ] If you don't reraise QQ and AK from any position you are burning money. |
