Yeah, I've been thinking a lot about that ordering lately and you've got it absolutely right Austiger. I still think Arizona State has a little bit of a chance if they win out, but you've certainly got the general idea.

1. Ohio State 2. LSU 3. Oregon 4. Oklahoma 5. West Virginia 6. Kansas (lost in the win over Nebraska is that their defense gave up 39, they still seem a little flaky to me) 7. Missouri 8. Arizona State 9. Boston College (the win at Va. Tech's still good, they deserve a Top 10 spot for now) 10. Auburn 11. Florida 12. USC 13. Connecticut 14. Georgia 15. Virginia Tech 16. California 17. Illinois with a loss to Iowa and their best win over Penn State and Wisconsin with their best win over........ Indiana? ahead of Kentucky and USF? Give me a break. Those teams have the same number of losses and Kentucky and USF have played much tougher schedules. Beating LSU and Auburn >>>>>> beating Indiana and Penn State.

South Florida [/ QUOTE ] Come on, Arnold_O, I know you're a Big Ten homer, [/ QUOTE ] my polls are always a little biased. i'm usually looking to put a patsy in the #2 slot so OSU gets another one just like '02 actually, i think illinois is somewhat deserving. they kept it close with missouri and michigan and beat penn st and wisconsin. not too shabby. forgiveness for the iowa game plus it was very close -- the same way auburn gets forgiveness for losing big to Miss St s florida is spiraling down although they looked better than cincy today

I have never heard of them and I thought I was pretty knowlegable in all divisions of college football

[/ QUOTE ] This isn't how you're supposed to rank teams. The BCS already takes SOS into account. Rankings should be based on how good you think the teams are. Not their resumes. Arguing that his rankings should be adjusted because of those teams' best wins is dumb. Watching the games is the only real way to tell the teams apart.
