2.20 Bodog SNG, Small PP rivers set
It's Bodog, so no hand converter... Apologies if the formatting is a little non-standard.
2.20 SnG, blinds 15/30 Starting stacks: SB - 450 BB - 1240 UTG - 4925 MP1 - 1085 MP2 - 1600 Hero - 2100 BTN - 3600 Hero is dealt 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 folds, Hero calls 30, BTN calls 30, SB calls 15, BB checks. (Pot: 120), Flop comes J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks. (Pot: 120), Turn is 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB checks, BB bets 30, Hero calls 30, BTN calls 30, SB calls 30. (Pot: 240), River is 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks, BB bets 80, Hero ?? Commentary on all streets welcome, but I'm particularly interested in the turn and river. Do you call the bet on the turn? I knew I was beat by just about any pair, but a lot of hands make that bet that don't have a pair just to see if they can take the pot, and it was very cheap to see the river. And of course, now that I hit my set on the river, what's my action? |

Re: 2.20 Bodog SNG, Small PP rivers set
i would inclined to fold this on the turn. Too dangerous with strights and flushes on the board. Because you've called and hit the only card that can really improve your hand, the 4 makes it difficult to fold. But a fold as button is still to play also.

Re: 2.20 Bodog SNG, Small PP rivers set
Fold turn ultrafast. River is a nightmare card for you. There's no way you can fold if you didn't fold turn. You hit your outs!
Let them take the little pots. What's the point of fighting for 120 chips with a straight and four undercards on the board? Yeah, once in a while you snapped off a bluff, but so many times you are just giving more chips to a guy who has you drawing dead. |
